I always take my time with every item I create. I put a lot of love and energy into every item, to insure every item is high quality and long-lasting. I hope that every thing I make will find itself a good home. I always wish for anyone who has any of my creations to love it like I do, as I grow a connection with each creation. I have many of my own creations that I use or wear on a daily basis. I stitch everything with either my industrial Juki or one of my home Janome machines and serge all necassary seams. I also add extra stitches and more to certain areas that take more stress, like pockets and straps. Below I've seperated each kind of item into its own section to share with you how I try to take the extra step in creating long lasting products.

Hand-Dyed Fabrics
My favorite new thing has been dying all of my own fabrics. I've been sourcing and collecting many new nice organic cotton blends, hemp, bamboo and soy. Wonderful jersey blends, corduroy, fleeces, cotton velveteen, muslin, heavy cotton gauze...All fabrics are dyed with Procion low-impact fiber reactive dyes. Fiber reactive dyes are known for their vibrant and long lasting colors, the dye permantly bonds to the fibers. I dye everything in the washing machine which gives nice even consistent results. All dye loads are put through a series of post-washes and rinses to ensure no bleeding during washing. It is always good to wash with similar colors though. The dying and washing process also pre-shrinks materials too. Eventually I want to have a line of vegetable dyed items, especially childrens clothing. Vegetable dyes are great for their completely natural ingredients and look, however they do not last like fiber reactive dyes, they do fade slowly over time. Soon I will have a vegetable-dyed line too. My love, Jason has been building and customizing my own programmed controller, creating my own custom dying machine out of an old washing machine. He's amazing! So smart!

Hippy Tops: All patchwork is stitched, serged and sometimes top-stitched for decoration or for extra support. They are darted in at least one place on each side for a perfect and comfortable fit. Most of them also have at least one stash pocket. Straps, loops and areas that take extra stress are triple-stitched. I love doing one-of-a-kind tops, so every piece is unique.
Jersey Tops:All of my hand-dyed bamboo/organic cotton and hemp/organic cotton jersey tops are stitched to ensure strength and durabilty. i.e. stress areas are triple stitched or top-stitched as well. I do not serge all seams, for jersey's do not fray, and this allows less bulky seams in fitted sleek items.

Skirts: All of my skirts are made to the upmost quality so you will wear them as much as desired. Right now I have been working on patchwork hippie skirts, hand-dyed hemp or bamboo jersey fairy skirts and mini's, and some adorable hemp shorty pirate skirts and mini witchy skirts. Check them out..
I dye all of my fabrics with low-impact dyes (see info above), there are three basic sizes; s,m, and l, all info is always described in item description. Patchwork skirts are made with high quality cottons and calicos. All stress areas are reinforced when needed. All fabrics are pre-washed/pre-shrunk.

Hair Wraps: All seams are stitched and serged, ties always have reinforced stitching as well for extra strength. All appliques are top-stitched and satin or buttonhole stitched directly to fabric. Most hair wraps are reversible too.

Hoodie Scarves: All of my hoodie scarves are sewn to the highest quality for long lasting elegance. Using my own hand-dyed fabrics (unless noted), they are truly unique, vibrant, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. The most recent creations are made with either hemp/ organic cotton corduroy or cotton velveteen, and lined with hemp/ organic cotton fleece, bamboo fleece or hemp/ organic cotton jersey. All hand-dyed and matched into wonderful color combinations, with wonderful trims such as shag fur, ball fringe and ruffled laces. Whether you vibe with the fuzzy and funkadelic, gypsies, hippies, or the elvish ones, there is a hoodie for you...
There are three basic sizes; Regular, Large and X-Large or as I call Headie Size for big dreadies or large thinkers. All hoods range in height from 14 to 16 inches, not including scarf. The 'Regular' hood measures 10 inches deep (laying flat). The 'Large' hood is a 'regular' size hood with 2 inches of shag fur (inside and out) making it 12 inches deep. The 'X-Large' or 'Headie' is 12.5 inches deep and more full and round in back to make room for your locks. The scarf is small in back, only adding about an inch of height to hood, and tapers out to 4 inches wide, sometimes 5. Purses: Every seam in my purses are stitched and serged. Sometimes top-stitched also if needed, or for decoration. I also triple-stitch all bottom seams and where the straps are sewn. All straps are also top-stitched so they always keep their perfect form. All purses and bags are fully lined with at least one inside pocket. All dimensions are listed precisely in item description.

Arm Warmers: My new and fabulous arm warmers are one-of-a-kind, handmade and hand-dyed with love. Made with either hemp/organic cotton fleece or 100% bamboo fleece, these arm warmers are warm, eco-friendly and adorable. Hand-dyed in low-impact Procion fiber reactive dyes, known for colors that last with low inpact on the enviroment. I serged the horizontal seams on the outside with complimenting thread, giving a unique crafty look. On each end I tapered the length on the outdside (going up the elbow more and down the outside of hand), for a more flattering look, still keeping the use of your thumbs and your arms oh so cozy. There is no one alike...all new and one-of-a-kind.

Jewelry
All jewelry is one-of-a-kind, so they vary in length and size.

All hemp jewelry is made with 100% unbleached hemp twine.
Necklaces: All of my hemp neckalces are made with pure love and joy. They are so fun. Hemp is the strongest natural fiber and has such a nice earthy look. I use semi-precious stones in most of my necklaces (always described in item descriptions), which I think make them so special. I am fascinated with rocks, gems and crystals, and collect them and dig them, as well as make jewelry. The longer and more you wear your hemp jewelry, the softer it will get.
Anklets and Bracelets: These are made the same as my neckalces, except I usually don't use semi-precious stones. This is because your arms and ankles can bumb into things easier, and take a little more abuse. Semi-precious stones are more fragile so they can break easier. I use a variety of wood, bone, ceramic, metals, and glass beads (which are described in item descriptions). All anklets and bracelets are made in a range of sizes, because no wrist or ankle is the same, so everyone should find at least a few in their perfect size.

Eye Pillows

Eye Pillows: All of my Eye Pillows are filled with 100% organic ingredients, except for a few blends that have patchouli leaves. This has been really hard to find organic in bulk. My base fill is flax seed (100% organic). All of my standard size pillows are filled with 4-5 total ounces of fill, depending on blend. My larger size, the Third Eye Pillow is larger and covers more of your face and upper brow, to soothe all your eyes, and have 6.5-7.5 ounces of total fill, depending on blend. I use all high quality silks and satin blends for decorative tops and soft-to-the-touch undersides. All seams are stitched and serged for maximum strength and durability.
